Carmel / Big Sur

One of our all-time favorite places in this great world is the beautiful coast of Northern Central California stretching from Monterrey to San Simeon, especially Carmel and Big Sur. The mountains drop down the the sea and the fog rolls in and out creating the mysterious exciting atmosphere that pervades this magical place. Of course, there is no substitute for being there in the experience, but words could never describe it and pictures are a poor but somewhat better way to see it.
